Kate Hartnick Elliott is President and Founder of Hartnick Consulting, a marketing, events and executive search firm in New York City. Prior to founding Hartnick Consulting, Ms. Elliott was Vice President of the Strategic Planning Group at New York agency, i-traffic; Vice President of Advertising and Business Development at award-winning cultural magazine, FEED; the first Director of Corporate Sales at research firm, Jupiter Communications; and a Marketing Executive at The New York Daily News. A well-known marketing expert, Elliott has spoken on the topic at Columbia Business School, the Columbus-Amsterdam Business Improvement District, The New School, the Support Center for Nonprofit Management, UJA-Federation of New York, and Vanderbilt University.
Elliott is on the Advisory Board for Columbia Business School's Social Enterprise Club and Lang Center for Entrepreneurship. She was previously a member of the Board of both New York Women in Communications (NYWICI) and the NYWICI Foundation, Editor-in-Chief of NYWICI's Matrix Times and co-chair of the Columbia Business School Alumni in Media Group.
Elliott received her BA in English and Psychology, Magna Cum Laude, from Amherst College and her MBA in Marketing and Management of Organizations from Columbia Business School.
