Hartnick Consulting President Kate Hartnick Elliott has over twenty years of experience helping to build and run sustainable marketing, media and nonprofit organizations. Her deep industry understanding, functional expertise and wide-ranging network are invaluable to her firm's clients. Ms. Elliott has been involved in the digital space long enough to have been named one of AlleyCat News' "Women of Silicon Alley" in 1999. Prior to founding Hartnick Consulting, Elliott was Vice President of the Strategic Planning Group at New York interactive agency, i-traffic; Vice President of Advertising and Business Development at award-winning online cultural magazine, FEED; the first Director of Corporate Sales at internet research firm, Jupiter Communications; and a Marketing Executive at The New York Daily News. Elliott is an Executive Committee member of the New York Hall of Science Council. She was previously a member of the Board of both New York Women in Communications (NYWICI) and the NYWICI Foundation, Editor-in-Chief of NYWICI's Matrix Times, a member of Columbia Business School's Class of 1990 20th Reunion Committee, a mentor for the Columbia Business School Lang Center for Entrepreneurship, and co-chair of the Columbia Business School Alumni in Media Group.
Elliott received her BA in English and Psychology, Magna Cum Laude, from Amherst College and her MBA in Marketing and Management of Organizations from Columbia Business School.
